Service Users enjoy watching musicals - Mamma Mia, Grease and more.

No one can keep still!

Pop corn, of course, is part of the night!

Always a very popular trip – the picking of strawberries and raspberries.

We had to split and went in two separate groups on the 8th and 15^th of
July.

You can see by the photo all the lovely strawberries and raspberries
that were picked and also eaten!

However some strawberries arrived back for us to enjoy the next day.

The fun week is held in the summer annually.

Teams enjoy egg and spoon race, tins to knock down, wet sponges race, fun keep fit and other sports.

There is great rivalry amongst Service Users and Staff with the tug of war game with everyone cheering their teams on!

To finalise Service Users are presented with gold medals and enjoy a delicious barbeque!

Dignity Action Day was on 1st February 2015.

This year the Art and Crafts Group designed and painting a dignity tree. Each of the green painted hands represents an individual and their identity. The coloured hands were created by the Service Users and Staff members wrote what dignity means to them. Also the cooking group baked and decorated cup-cakes.

We celebrated the event with a discussion group whereby everyone was given an opportunity to talk, sign or gesture; what dignity means to them. Afterwards we all enjoyed the delicious cakes with a drink.

On Saturday 14th February 2015 we celebrated the most romantic day of the year with a Party for everyone and invited some of our local friends.

The Centre was beautifully decorated in red, with balloons and the theme of hearts. Some Staff prepared a speech explaining how Valentine’s Day is celebrated around the world within different cultures and traditions. We all enjoyed a lovely buffet and afterwards continued to celebrate on the dance floor.

On the scariest night of the year we run a Fun Halloween party.

The centre’s decoration is both beautiful and terrifying.

Service Users and Staff come dressing up in frightening masks and costumes.

Prizes are given for the best costume.
